Quick take
The Diana Chaser doesn't have a forend rail — it's a pistol with a stock attachment, and to mount any bipod or laser you need this barrel band that adds a Picatinny/Weaver rail under the barrel. 162 orders makes this one of the partner's most-bought small parts, because every Chaser owner who adds a bipod buys this first. Also fits Diana Bandit, Diana StormRider, Artemis PR900W (versions 1 and 2 — not the PR900G3), Artemis LR700W and PP800.

The Hunt & Live take
Why this barrel band earns the pick
The Diana Chaser is the entry-tier carbine variant of the Bandit pistol — a pistol with a stock attachment, and no forend or accessory rail of any kind. If you want to mount a bipod (or a laser, or a vertical foregrip) to a Chaser, you have nowhere to attach it.
This barrel band is the required adapter. It clamps around the barrel and gives you a Picatinny/Weaver rail running under the barrel, in the right position for a forend-mounted bipod. 162 verified orders tells you this is the standard add-on every Chaser owner buys when they start serious shooting — the rifle is just not usable as a precision platform without it.
The compatibility list extends well beyond the Chaser: the same barrel band fits the Diana Bandit, StormRider, Artemis PR900W (v1 and v2), the Artemis LR700W, and the PP800. The exception worth noting: the Artemis PR900G3 is a newer revision with a different barrel profile and this band does not fit it.
What it pairs with
- Diana Chaser — the primary host platform
- Diana Bandit — pistol variant
- Diana StormRider (Gen 1/Gen 2) — adds bipod mount under barrel
- Artemis PR900W v1 and v2 — older versions only
- Artemis LR700W
- Artemis PP800
Bipods to mount on it:
- V10 Tactical Bipod — Picatinny mount, fits directly
- Tactical Bipod 7.5-9″ — Picatinny mount, fits directly
- 6-9″ Shooting Bipod — use the Picatinny adapter included with it
Honest trade-offs
Does NOT fit the Artemis PR900G3. The G3 revision has a different barrel diameter. Verify which version you have before ordering — the G1 and G2 are fine, the G3 isn’t.
Barrel-mounted bipods affect harmonics. Clamping anything to a PCP barrel changes the barrel’s vibration pattern at the shot. Most shooters don’t notice; precision shooters do. If you’re competing or tuning for last-fraction-of-MOA precision, this is a consideration; for hunting and casual shooting it’s fine.
Position is fixed by the barrel band’s clamp location. Unlike a forend rail (where you can slide the bipod fore-aft to balance the rifle), this band sits at one position on the barrel. Plan the bipod position you want before installing.
