Quick take
Not a regulator on its own — this is the fill valve and gauge assembly you bolt onto a Diana StormRider, Artemis PR900W or Artemis CR600W when you install an aftermarket Altaros or Lane regulator. The reason you need it: the stock gauge sits inside the rifle, and installing a full-length regulator covers it. This new design replaces the gauge with a front-mounted unit so you can still read fill pressure. 5/5 on 120 orders, currently out of stock.

The Hunt & Live take
Why this assembly earns the pick
The fill valve and gauge assembly is the part nobody mentions when they sell you a regulator — and the part you will need within a week of installing one. Here’s why: most Diana / Artemis PCPs have their pressure gauge inside the stock, reading from a port on the reservoir tube. When you install a full-length aftermarket regulator (Altaros, Lane), the regulator body covers that port. You can no longer see your fill pressure.
This assembly replaces the rifle’s stock fill valve with a new unit that has the gauge moved to the front of the rifle — visible without removing the stock, with a Snowpeak-sourced gauge, dust cover for the fill probe, and a bleed screw for safe degassing. 120 orders, 100% positive tells you this is the standard companion purchase.
What it pairs with
- Altaros regulator for Diana StormRider / Bandit / Artemis PR900W / PP800 — the most common pairing
- Lane regulator kit for Diana StormRider + Artemis PR900W/CR600W — the budget regulator pairing
- Diana StormRider rifles — Gen 1 and Gen 2
- Artemis PR900W, Artemis CR600W — pumped variants of the Diana platform
Honest trade-offs
Currently out of stock. Email Wes at support@airgunarcheryfun.ca for restock ETA — this part cycles back fairly often.
Not optional if you’re installing a full-length regulator. Some shooters skip it and live without a gauge reading; you can technically do that, but you’re filling blind. For a $30-50 part on top of a $150 regulator install, just buy it.
Bleed screw is a small surprise upgrade. The original Diana fill valve had no way to safely degas the rifle for maintenance. The new design has one — meaning future work on the regulator or valve is cleaner and safer.
