Quick take
This is the factory-matched Snowpeak regulator for the M60-family bottle-fed PCPs — fits the Snowpeak M60, M60B, and the Umarex Zelos (which is the rebadged M60B sold under the Umarex name in North America). 17 orders, 100% positive. Note: these ship without locking nuts, so you'll need to swap the locking nut off your original regulator to lock the setting on the new one. The right choice if your factory regulator has failed or if you want a spare for a high-use rifle. Currently out of stock.

The Hunt & Live take
Why this regulator earns the pick
The M60, M60B, and Umarex Zelos are already regulated from the factory — the Snowpeak M60-family bottle-fed PCPs ship with an internal regulator that delivers the consistency these rifles are known for. So why buy a replacement? Two reasons:
- Factory regulators fail eventually. A 5+ year old M60 that’s seen heavy use can develop creep or pressure inconsistency. This is the OEM part to swap in.
- You want a spare. For a hunting rifle that travels to remote spots, having a spare regulator (plus the seal kit and tools to install it) is the difference between a 2-day repair and a season-ending failure.
This part is factory-matched, not aftermarket — meaning it’s the same regulator Snowpeak ships in new rifles, not a third-party upgrade. Performance equals the original. If you want a different regulator profile (output pressure, shot-string characteristic), Altaros and Huma-Air don’t currently make an M60-family option — so this is the replacement.
What it pairs with
- Snowpeak M60B High Power — the most common host rifle
- Snowpeak M60B Sub-500 — same regulator covers the sub-500 fps variant
- Snowpeak M60B .30 Ported — same regulator
- Umarex Zelos — the rebadged M60B sold under Umarex
- Snowpeak M60 — original predecessor to the M60B
Honest trade-offs
No locking nut included. This is the explicit warning on the partner page — the regulator ships without the small locking nut that retains your pressure setting. You’ll need to swap the nut from your original regulator. If your original failed in a way that destroyed the nut, contact Wes at support@airgunarcheryfun.ca before installing.
Currently out of stock. OEM parts cycle through the partner’s stock irregularly. Email Wes for ETA.
Not an upgrade — a replacement. If you’re looking for a regulator that performs better than stock, this isn’t it. For most M60-family owners the factory regulator is already excellent, and this part exists for repair and spares, not tuning.
