The Hunt & Live take
Why this pouch earns the pick
A MOLLE pouch is the organizational hack for PCP shooters who don’t want a single-compartment duffel chaos. By clipping a pouch to the exterior of a daypack, a belt, or a tactical vest, you keep frequently-accessed items (pellets, mags, chrono, sight adjustment tool) outside the main pack — meaning you don’t unzip and dig every time you want a pellet tin.
600D nylon is the standard tactical-grade pouch material — robust, abrasion-resistant, holds shape. The waterproof rating matters for field use; the desert camo pattern is one of several MOLLE pouch colors but the only one the partner stocks (a desert pattern doesn’t blend with timber as well as a green or brown, but for backpack-mounted use the visibility doesn’t matter much).
20×14×9cm is a useful internal volume. Holds:
- 3-4 tins of JSB pellets
- Or 2 spare magazines + chrono
- Or chrono + sight tool + multitool + pellets
- Or first-aid kit + spare batteries
The MOLLE mount means it lives on whatever pack you’re carrying — clip it to the Allen Timber Raider Daypack, to a tactical belt, or to a hunting vest.
What it pairs with
- Allen Timber Raider Daypack — mount on the exterior MOLLE webbing if equipped
- Any tactical vest or duty belt with MOLLE webbing
- Allen Sportsman’s Duffel — clip inside for organized small-item carry
- PCP hunting setups where you want pellets and mags fast-accessible
Honest trade-offs
Requires a MOLLE-compatible host. If your daypack or belt doesn’t have MOLLE webbing, the pouch has nowhere to attach. The Allen Timber Raider has limited MOLLE — verify before assuming compatibility. Most pure-tactical packs (5.11, Maxpedition, military surplus) have full MOLLE; civilian daypacks often don’t.
Desert camo doesn’t match every setup. If you’re running a green/brown camo kit, this desert pattern will stand out. Visual mismatch is cosmetic, not functional.
Only 2 verified orders. Small sample. The pouch type is widely-known and the spec is standard 600D MOLLE; the partner’s specific listing just hasn’t moved volume yet.
