The Hunt & Live take
Why this sling earns the pick
A rifle sling is the carry-when-you’re-walking accessory. For PCP hunters who walk to a stand, a pest spot, or a longer field session, a sling lets you carry the rifle hands-free — over the shoulder, across the back, or in the “tactical low ready” position depending on the strap configuration.
This camo sling at the partner is the all-in-one purchase for a wood-stocked rifle: pick the sling, add the optional studs and swivels at checkout, and you’ve got the complete bundle to convert a stud-less stock to a slung rifle.
The camo pattern + padded construction is the two-feature signal: camo blends with hunting environments, padding spreads the rifle’s weight across your shoulder so a 5-7 lb PCP doesn’t dig in after a few hours of carry. 370mm is the typical sling length — long enough to drop the rifle to a low-ready carry position, short enough to keep the rifle controlled in close brush.
What it pairs with
- Beeman Chief II + studs + this sling = complete carry kit
- Beeman QB79 — traditional stock, similar setup
- Beeman AR2079 — wood stock
- Diana / Artemis wood-stocked rifles — most older Diana / Artemis platforms accept sling studs
- Sling Studs and Swivels Black — buy the studs separately if you already have a sling
Honest trade-offs
Camo pattern is fixed. Whatever pattern the partner is currently stocking — pre-confirm with Wes at support@airgunarcheryfun.ca if camo pattern matters for your hunt environment.
3 verified orders. Small sample for the buyer-confidence rating. The sling is a low-stakes item — if it’s a sling that doesn’t break, it’s serving its function.
Doesn’t fit Picatinny-chassis rifles directly. Modern tactical PCPs use QD (quick-disconnect) sling attachments on rails, not sling studs. For QD-mount slings, look at tactical/military slings sold separately — not in the partner’s catalog.
Sling studs are an option, not included by default. Read the checkout listing carefully — the optional studs + swivels add-on is a separate selection at the cart. If you forget to add them, you’ll get the sling alone.
