Quick take
100% silicone grease in a 15ml tube — the right lubricant for PCP O-rings that need to stay in place. 45 orders. Perfect for greasing the end of your PCP tube before removing the regulator or valve (lets the parts slide out cleanly) and for re-installing them afterward. Also works on fill probe O-rings, bottle O-rings, and any seal that needs a thicker lubricant than silicone oil. A little goes a long way — 15ml lasts most owners 3-5 years.

The Hunt & Live take
Why this grease earns the pick
Silicone grease is the must-have companion to silicone oil for any PCP owner. The two products have different jobs:
- Silicone oil is thin — flows easily, gets into tight spots, lubricates moving parts (pump pistons, regulator internals)
- Silicone grease is thick — stays in place, doesn’t migrate, lubricates static seals (O-rings on bottle threads, fill probe O-rings, pressure tube ends)
The partner’s framing nails the primary use case: “Perfect for working on your pcp rifle. Use it to grease the end of your pcp tube before removing the regulator or valve and when reinstalling them.” When you’re sliding a regulator into a 250-bar pressure tube, you need lubrication that doesn’t run off the seal before the part is in place. Grease holds.
A little goes a long way — a pea-sized dab covers an entire O-ring. 15ml lasts most owners 3-5 years even with regular maintenance.
What it pairs with
- Any PCP rifle — fill probe O-ring lubrication every few weeks
- Hand pumps — piston cup grease points
- Aftermarket regulators — grease the tube before sliding the regulator in
- Silicone Oil 30ml — the companion oil product for moving parts
Honest trade-offs
Use grease, not Vaseline. Petroleum jelly will degrade PCP seals. Stick with silicone grease.
Don’t over-grease. A pea-sized amount is enough. Over-greasing means excess grease gets pushed into the pressure path and can contaminate downstream components (especially the regulator).
Silicone grease and silicone oil are not interchangeable. Don’t substitute. Use oil for moving parts and grease for static seals.
