The Hunt & Live take
Why this fill station earns the pick
A bare carbon fiber bottle is useless on its own — you need a fill station to transfer air from the tank to the rifle in a controlled way. The partner’s Tuxing 3L tank bundles a fill station; the Alsafe bottles (480cc, 580cc, 700cc) and the Snowpeak 500cc do not.
This standalone adjustable fill station fills the gap. The adjustable regulator is the headline feature: you set the output pressure once to match your rifle’s max fill (e.g., 250 bar for a Lynx Gen 3, 300 bar for an M60B) and the station auto-stops at that pressure on every fill. No more gauge-watching, no risk of overfilling, no rifle damage from accidentally pushing past the rifle’s max pressure.
6000 psi rating is well above any airgun fill pressure — the station won’t be the weak point in the chain. Two gauges (input from tank, output to rifle) give you complete visibility into the pressure transfer.
What it pairs with
- Snowpeak 500cc bottle — bare bottle, no station bundled
- Alsafe 480/580cc — bare bottle, no station bundled
- Alsafe 700cc — bare bottle, no station bundled
- Any M18×1.5 airgun bottle without a bundled station
- Upgrading an old un-regulated fill station that came with an earlier tank purchase
Honest trade-offs
Don’t buy this if you bought the Tuxing 3L + Fill Station bundle with the regulated option. That bundle already includes a regulated fill station — adding another is duplicate gear.
M18×1.5 thread only — this is the airgun standard so it covers most PCPs, but if you have a 7/8-14 UNF paintball/HPA tank you’ll need an adapter (the partner sells one separately for ~$25).
