The Hunt & Live take

Why this rifle earns the pick

This is the only custom-built rifle in the partner’s catalog — a CR600W that the partner has converted with:

  1. A Diana Stormrider tube and valve (substantially better than the stock CR600W parts)
  2. A Lane regulator with a front-mounted gauge for visibility
  3. An intake valve with its own gauge
  4. A modified breech swapped from .22 to .25 caliber
  5. A 3D-printed 8-shot magazine designed specifically for the .25 conversion

You can’t get this configuration anywhere else. The partner is doing the work that experienced PCP owners typically do over months of tinkering — and selling it as a turnkey rifle. 100% positive on 41 orders validates the build quality.

The 2.10 kg total weight makes this the lightest full-power rifle in the partner’s catalog — even with the Stormrider tube and regulator, it’s still under 5 lb.

What it pairs with

Honest trade-offs

Out of stock at time of writing. Custom builds depend on the partner having parts available. Email Wes for ETA.

650-700 fps is on the slower side for .25 caliber. With 25gr pellets that’s still ~25-27 ft-lbs of energy, but if you want the higher .25 cal velocities of the M60B or Airacuda Max, this isn’t it.

Breech may still say “.22” — the partner is clear that the writing on the breech wasn’t re-stamped after the .25 conversion. Cosmetic only; the bore and magazine are .25.

One-stage trigger — not as refined as the two-stage triggers on most modern PCPs. The 0.5-4 lbs range is wide enough to dial in for most uses, but two-stage shooters may find the single-stage break less crisp.

3D-printed magazine. Works fine per the 41 verified orders, but plastic mags can fail eventually. Buy a spare if you’ll shoot this rifle heavily.

Canadian PAL required.
