The Hunt & Live take

Why this rifle earns the pick

The PRS Max is what happens when JTS takes the Airacuda Max’s regulated air system and drops it into a serious PRS-style aluminum chassis. The headline features:

  • Custom aluminum alloy chassis with bridge — ergonomically designed for lever access and stability
  • Patented adjustable buttstock with cheek riser — fits the shooter, not the other way around
  • AR-style grip — interchangeable with any AR-15 grip
  • Upper + lower Picatinny rails — for optics, bipods, M-LOK rails, accessory mounting
  • Custom pressure gauge placement options — configure the gauge layout to suit your build
  • Bubble level and single shot tray included — match shooting essentials

Red, green, or silver finishes let you build a coordinated rig. 8.5 lb is heavy by hunting standards but appropriate for a precision platform.

What it pairs with

This is a precision rifle — pair it with serious gear:

Honest trade-offs

8.5 lb plus optics is heavy. This isn’t a backpack-carry hunting rifle. It’s bench/bipod precision work.

Smaller cylinder than the standard Airacuda Max. 220cc here vs 280cc-class on the Max. Same shots-per-fill at .22/.25 power levels because of the regulator efficiency, but if you bump regulator pressure for slugs you’ll get fewer shots.

Chassis tuning adds complexity. Adjustable buttstocks and cheek pieces need to be set up correctly to deliver the precision the chassis is designed for. Plan to spend an afternoon dialing it in.

Canadian moderator restriction still applies. Muzzle brake substitute for Canadian buyers.

Canadian PAL required. Email PAL to support@airgunarcheryfun.ca after purchase.
