The AP1000B Mercury is what the Mercury Compact grows up into: full power, collapsible stock, and a much larger reservoir option. The headline feature is the 500cc carbon fiber bottle that runs parallel to the barrel — doubles the air capacity over the 250cc original Mercury while keeping total weight at 2.6 kg.

The Snowpeak velocity estimates are conservative, per the partner’s note — actual chrono numbers tend to be slightly higher than the spec sheet. That’s a nice surprise but means the spec listing slightly understates performance.
Collapsible stock is plastic. Some buyers prefer the rigidity of a fixed wood stock — if that’s you, the Lynx is the right pick instead.
