Additional Techniques

In addition to using the blanket as a reflector, you can also use it to create a makeshift signaling mirror. To do this, place the blanket on a flat surface and adjust it so that the shiny side is facing upwards. Hold a small rock or other reflective surface in front of the blanket to create a makeshift mirror that can be used to reflect sunlight towards your target.
