Drill smaller holes on either side of the combustion chamber for airflow and fuel channels. Use a drill press or a handheld drill with a metal drill bit to ensure accurate and precise holes.

Safety Considerations and Assembly

When working with metal and open flames, it’s essential to exercise caution and follow safety guidelines. Wear protective gear, including gloves and safety glasses, when drilling and handling the metal container. Ensure proper ventilation in the area to prevent carbon monoxide buildup. Once the holes are drilled, assemble the rocket stove by placing a heat-resistant refractory material, such as ceramic fiber or insulating firebrick, inside the combustion chamber. Add a fuel channel and airflow system to complete the rocket stove.
