Still Hunting and Barking Techniques

Develop a still-hunting strategy to quietly approach and set up in areas with known squirrel activity. Use a tree or brush pile as a blind and set up at least 20 yards away from the area you’re hunting. To locate squirrels, try barking like a squirrel and listen for responses. This technique can be effective within 100 yards, but be cautious not to spook the squirrels.
