Identifying Key Locations

Look for areas with abundant food sources, such as grasslands, agricultural fields, or wetlands. Geese also tend to congregate in areas with limited human activity, such as remote fields or unpopulated waterways. Consider using full-body decoys and flags to create a convincing spread, as geese are attracted to the sight and sound of other geese. A typical spread should consist of 3-5 decoys, spaced 10-15 yards apart, with flags placed 5-7 yards from the decoys.
