Using a Clinometer for Slope Measurement

For more advanced users, consider using a clinometer with a built-in barometer to measure altitude and calculate the slope using the hypsometric equation. This method involves measuring the difference in altitude between two points and using the clinometer to determine the angle between them. With this information, you can calculate the slope and even determine the distance between the two points using trigonometry. This technique requires a higher level of expertise but can provide more accurate results in certain situations.
