Drum Placement and Surroundings

To maintain a stable temperature, place the insulated water drum in a shaded area, away from direct sunlight. Ideally, position the drum on a level surface and surround it with a layer of insulation material, such as straw or shredded newspaper. This will help to absorb any heat or cold from the surrounding environment, keeping the water temperature stable.
