Use a flashlight to illuminate the area, as scorpions are often hidden in the shadows. Look for scorpions in areas where they are likely to hide, such as under rocks or near logs. It’s also essential to check any stacked firewood, rocks, or other objects that may be concealing a scorpion. A good rule of thumb is to inspect a 3-foot radius around your campsite and under any objects that you have placed nearby.
