Wound Cleaning Essentials

When treating wounds in the wilderness, it’s essential to maintain a clean environment. Bring a portable first aid manual, such as the Wilderness First Aid Handbook, to guide you in treating common injuries and illnesses. Consider adding a splinting kit to your first aid gear, which should include a SAM Splint or a pre-made splint. This will allow you to properly immobilize injured limbs and prevent further damage.
