Techniques for Immobilizing a Fracture

To effectively immobilize a fracture, apply the SAM splint in a way that maintains the injured limb in a comfortable, neutral position. Start by wrapping the splint around the limb, then secure it with ACE wraps or gauze. For more complex fractures, you may need to add additional support, such as padding or a separate splint.

Prioritizing Blood Flow and Further Treatment
