These kits usually include a tourniquet, suction device, and other supplies to immobilize the affected area and prevent the spread of venom. When assembling a snake bite kit, consider including a few pairs of gloves, a pair of scissors, and a few extra bandages.

Cold packs can be used to treat sprains, strains, and other injuries that cause swelling and pain. They can be especially useful in treating ankle and wrist injuries. When assembling a first-aid kit, consider including a few cold packs, as well as a small container of pain relievers and antiseptic wipes.
